About

Every child and adult must receive their right to essential services from food to healthcare. My research focuses on the analysis of development policies to protect these basic rights, especially in India and South Asia.


Am an Assistant Professor at the School for Public Health and Human Development at O.P. Jindal Global University. Previously have been a Visiting Faculty at the National Law School of India University, Post-Doctorate at the National Institute of Advanced Studies and Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Human Development.


Have completed my PhD from the Tata Institute of Social Science. Am also an alumna of the School of Oriental and African Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science and CAPORDE.


Am an activist with various civil society organisations including the Right to Food Campaign and have founded the 25percent.in and SAVE FOOD networks.
